Job Summary
Being a part of Comstor's Consultancy Team - The Technical Consultant will need to be the single point of contact for presales queries (BOQ design/checks), building a network of contacts with techies within the partner community and conducting trainings as appropriate for this community.
Responsibilities
Offer Presales support to a select list of key partners with a view to
- Designing BOQ's
- Checking RFQ's and advising if incorrect
Building a network of contacts with the technical staff in the partner organization
Offering Presales support to internal staff
- BOQ design/checking
- EOS/EOL updates
- Price list queries (GPL related)
Supervise/maintain and optimize the internal network
- See that AMC contracts are maintained
- Optimization of the network
- Supervise with 3rd party AMC providers to optimize uptime of the network
Conduct Seminar's/Lunchn'learns/Webinars on new technologies that Cisco has In particular for the SMB community
- UC500
- Call Manager Express
- SMB Security road maps
And other relevant topics.
Keeping abreast with current products and technologies. Pursuing certifications in Voice and Security.
Key Traits
- Self starter with initiative to improve continually
- Team player
- Suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Minimum 3 years experience required.
- Ability to work in a team and deliver results with tight timelines
- Needs to have techno-commercial acumen
- Needs to be familiar with latest trends and technologies in the networking field
- Voice or SEcurity experience preferred
- Knowledge of Cisco solutions with basic certifications on Cisco (CSE/CCNA/CCNP/CCVP/CCSP).
