We were founded in 1985 as an IT sales company in New York. Today we are a multinational distributor of technology products focused on networking and communications. Our main technologies are networking, telephony, network security, video conferencing and mobility.

Company revenue exceeds $3 billion. Our operations are in North and South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia. More than 40% of our 1,700+ employees have over 5 years with the company.

Our customer base includes value-added resellers, systems integrators and service providers that resell products and solutions to small and medium sized businesses, enterprise organizations and governments around the world.

We perform a full range of typical distribution activities – warehousing, inventory management, order processing, credit services, etc. In addition we enable our customers on a global scale by providing resources such as solutions programs, technical and managed services capabilities, sales and product training, engineering support and a unique global project management and fulfillment capability.

Knowledge is a valuable commodity in our business. Our business divisions are organized to concentrate knowledge and experience to match the needs of our customers. Our three main business divisions are Westcon Convergence (telephony and video conferencing), Westcon Security (network security and software licensing) and Comstor (Cisco and Cisco related products).

• Westcon Convergence
  Westcon Convergence provides business telephony and video conferencing solutions from companies such as Nortel, Avaya and Polycom. Our ConvergencePoint program is a web based platform offering training, support and information on complimentary products. In the USA, our Westcon Convergence business also operates as Voda One.
  

• Westcon Security
  Every day there are new threats to the networks. Westcon Security addresses these threats with products and services from the leading security manufacturers. The security division marries extensive product knowledge with the real world experience that comes from day to day involvement in this active and evolving market. We promote the success of our security customers through the SecurityPoint program.  Leading manufacturers in our SecurityPoint program include Check Point, RSA, Bluecoat, Cisco, Ironport, Trend Micro.

  Comstor is focused on delivering Cisco networking and advanced technology solutions. Comstor’s award winning ‘One’ programs promote Cisco technology and add complimentary product enhancements.
